Haw Cheese

Yesterday my friend offered me a candy, sort of. It was called "Haw Cheese" but my friend assured me that it was not made of cheese.

No, I don't like it. It has the texture of a gritty fruit roll up.

Ok, I hate it.

Apparently the "Haw" is for hawthorn, which has all sorts of medicinal properties. No word on what "cheese" has to do with anything.
